Goodbye to Dow Jones News on FXstreet.com

Hi everyone

Starting today, Dow Jones News is not going to be available on the FXstreet.com Forex News section any more. The news feed is going to come from two feeders, FXstreet.com and ForexLive during the Asian Market.

The reason for the move is simple. All major news providers changed their Internet strategy a couple of years ago and changed the feeds they were offering to web sites as they considered they had to stop cannibalizing themselves, switching towards a more general and less concrete news feed. With these changes, we considered that they no longer provided enough value to a Forex News feed to justify the price we had to pay.

So in the last year we have gotten rid of the Reuters, Thomson and now the Dow Jones News feeds, and we have launched a home made Forex-focused feed instead. So far, the numbers are proving that our decision was the correct one as the news section is at all-time highs once again.
